Miss Ohio International®

Amanda Stevens

This 5'10" blonde beauty also has amazing brain power! She's was an eight-time President's List honor student at Kent State University, who just graduated Summa Kum Laude, and she was immediately promoted to the position of Business Development Manager following an internship with a Northeastern Ohio based corporation.

She lives by the personal creedo, "Always live life to the fullest," as she actively shares her message of Depression Awareness, which is more than a platform topic; it’s a personal passion very close to her heart.

Suffering unnecessarily after experiencing personal tragedy, she sought assistance, and it is her hope that through heightening awareness on the issue of depression and by sharing her own personal story, she is providing others with the knowledge and the courage to seek professional help… and potentially even saving lives along the way.

Years prior to ever becoming Miss Ohio International, she was already heightening the awareness of depression as a volunteer for both the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), and also Families for Depression Awareness.  From implementing a regional mental health awareness campaign for colleges, participating in National Depression Screening Day events, and serving as a spokesperson for NAMI Walk for the Mind of America (a nationwide fundraising and mental health awareness program now held in more than 70 communities around the country!), to distributing information for Families for Depression Awareness and developing a personal testimony for their website, she remains dedicated to also helping the organization fulfill their mission and purpose.
